— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCESam is 6'4" and has a muscular build. His eyes are hazel, with the color changing between brown, green, and blue (or any combination thereof) dependent upon the lighting. His legs are long and so is his hair. Sam hair is medium warm brown in color and generally worn long and down, sometimes reaching almost to his shoulders. He is rarely clean-shaven, preferring a very short stubble. 

CLOTHING Apt to care for his appearance, Sam will be found wearing clean, generally neutral tones with the occasional pop of color. His clothing appears well kept, with the occasional statement marker (such as uncommonly shaped buttons,  intentional seaming, or contrast stitching). He primarily wears boots suited for riding and during cooler temperatures or when under cover can be seen wearing a hooded cloak with a small amount of adornment. 

DEMEANOR Sam is quiet and intellectual, appearing as a "gentle giant" for most purposes. He remains helpful and respectful, but is more apt to do for himself than to ask others for help. While he has a wide array of family in Abraxas, Sam will often be seen alone in his work or his research and it would not be uncommon to find his typical manner leaning toward morose. When threatened (either directly or by association) Sam can appear very aggressive and foreboding. A quiet intensity can be seen most during non-familial confrontations, while matters of the heart bring forth a more emotional side.

AURAL His voice is deep and can boom, but Sam is typically soft spoken with a medium-to-slow cadence when at rest. He is known to stutter on occasion as well as ramble about lore, and when he's excited, his tone and the increased speed of his speech will reflect it. It's unlikely, however, that Sam will exhibit markers of remorse, sadness, or other negative emotions through his words and tone (although certain extreme circumstances can change this, particularly where family is involved
