( things are so mundane in solvunn that it makes something that doesn't fit into wanda's general idea of the place really stand out. she has a general idea of all the summoned who are here, for instance, though their comings and goings between and within the settlements is not something she wants to keep too much of an eye on—everyone can do as they like with their lives.
to find, however, a rather tall, familiar individual within the settlements rather than over in the cities, though?
that's enough to have her quickening her pace towards the pen with the goats. a few people, all locals, are trying to corral them in for the day, but wanda is aware that that sure is sam winchester getting the run-around by a few baby goats. wanda steps up to the fence, puts her feet up on the lowest rung to raise herself up, and keeps her arms straight and steady as she calls out to him— )
[ As Sam struggles with the offending livestock, he finds himself glad for the simple, but challenging task. Much like people long before him, he's finding appreciation in working with nature, although he'd like to get a little less shit kicked on him in the process. ]

[ He nabs up one of the goats, scooping it into his arms. As he heads towards her, he rushes a bit, causing the playful kids to chase him instead. In his arms, the wriggling animal bleats, but appears in no real distress as it lays upended in Sam's grip. ]
It hasn't been long — just a couple of days. Or— [ He laughs. ] Well, a bit, but you know how time is. Long enough to get roped into this—

( the goat in his arm probably really enjoys the height. wanda, still standing on the lowest rung of the wooden fence, manages to just about be eye-to-eye with him (but even that's quite generous). she remains where she is, fingertips helping her keep her balance against the fence's top.
it is an immense relief that he remembers her, because she's getting the gist of the situation being that sam disappeared and was summoned back again.
in solvunn, no less. )
I'm not sure how exactly it works, either. ( she tilts her head, glancing down now at the kids that are biting at sam's boots. ) I didn't realize you'd left.

You're probably a better fit here.
( how to be excited without letting on that she is? it's not always that she has a someone she considers a friend from another faction just be moved closer to her. she motions at the group of goats with her nose. )
You look like you could use some help herding the baby goats. They're a huge menace.
